Yesterday we finally got to take part in a tradition that every gap year gets to do, the squad hike to Yonah Mountain! At 3,000 feet of elevation and almost a three mile hike, this mountain was quite the monster for myself and others in my squad. However, when we finally reached the top of the mountain as you can see by the picture, it was absolutely gorgeous!

This trip was a way that we got to marvel at God's creation in a unique and enjoyable way. Looking out across the vast mountains and trees that spanned across the horizon, the absolute beauty of the sunset from the mountaintop, and the endless stars shining down on us at night. The tripping, aching, and freezing was all worth it for this.

I implore you once again to pray for myself and my squamates as we continue living together. Pray for unity and cohesiveness in this little branch of the body of Christ. Also, pray for wisdom and discernment amongst ourselves and our leaders. Thank you all so much, once again, for supporting me on my trip! Go W Squad!
