Right before Swaziland came to a close, there was a lot of speculation on where we would be in South Africa and which team we would be with. We knew that there were three different options for where we would be staying in SA: Johannesburg, Jefferey’s Bay, or another landlocked country; Lesotho. The choices between beach, mountains, and city (cliché much?) made people draw up hopes and ideas on what would occur. Finally, the announcement came.

My team was with Team-othy 4:12 in Johannesburg! We finished our time in Swazi and were shipped off to JoBurg at 7:00AM that morning. When we got to our destination, we drove into a cement walled bit of land with electric fences hanging over the outside. On the inside was four acres of land with beautifully kept lawns, frisbee golf, and pretty much every sport available.

With a slow weekend to start off our time with Impact Africa, along with a couple of orientations and trainings, we began our time here with “Outreach”. Every weekday we go out into impoverished communities and simply spread the Gospel. We have seen salvations and healings, also I truly feel encouraged to come back home with the practice of street evangelism.

I am certain that the Lord is moving very much through our time and efforts here in SA, and I can only hope that there will be more movement in each community we get to go to. I feel that, with going back home coming up on my agenda, this is the perfect way to end off my time on the Race. Thank you all so much for your support, I intend on doing one more blog update hopefully today or tomorrow. Thank you!!
